Ernest Ka'ai
7.1.1881–1961Ka'ai war Autodidakt und seit 1900 als Musiker und Musikerzieher, Impressario und Inhaber einer Ukulelen-Manufaktur tätig. Er galt als größte Kapazität auf dem Gebiet der Ukulele. Ka'ai verfaßte 1906 das erste Lehrbuch für Ukulele. 1923 führte er eine Konzertreise durch Ostasien und Australien und Neuseeland durch. Anschließend lebte und wirkte er 7 Jahre lang mit seiner Truppe in Japan.
